Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif Launches Pakistan Animal Identification & Traceability System (PAITS)

Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif officially launched the Pakistan Animal Identification & Traceability System (PAITS) during the National Seminar / Dialogue titled Harnessing Pakistan's Livestock Potential. The initiative marks a significant milestone in modernizing Pakistan's livestock sector by introducing a nationwide system for animal identification and traceability. PAITS is designed to improve disease surveillance, strengthen food safety, enhance livestock management, and increase the country's compliance with international standards, ultimately supporting sustainable livestock development and expanding export opportunities.
