Company Overview
In alignment with Pakistan’s national goal of economic revival, the Green Corporate Livestock Initiative (Private) Limited (GCLI) was established under the umbrella of the Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC) in January 2024. GCLI is tasked with addressing critical challenges in Pakistan's livestock sector, including food security and import substitution, by introducing transformative technologies and modern practices. Operating under a paradigm shift in herd management and livestock sector revival, GCLI employs state-of-the-art solutions such as Pakistan’s First and the Only Sexed Semen lab, In Vitro Fertilization (IVF) lab and Animal Genetic Research Center to enhance productivity and drive sustainable growth.

At Green Corporate Livestock Initiative (GCLI), we believe that the future of Pakistan’s livestock sector lies in innovation, technology, and sustainability. With over 251 million heads of livestock, this sector holds immense potential to drive national growth. However, outdated practices and genetic limitations have long constrained its development. Our mission is to transform national herd through advanced technologies that enhance productivity and uplift farmers’ livelihood. From the establishment of Pakistan’s first Sexed Semen Laboratory and cutting-edge IVF labs to the development of superior exotic and indigenous breeds, GCLI is spearheading a new era of precision breeding and genetic advancement.
